Senior Electrical Design Engineer

PRG have exclusively been appointed by a top building services consultancy assisting in the strategic search of an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their Building Services team in Newcastle.

Due to significant growth and development, continuing to win major project work across the Data Centre, commercial and healthcare sectors, the firm is looking to appoint an experienced Senior  Electrical Design Engineer.

The role will require you to deliver high quality, innovative design. It is expected you will have thorough knowledge of Electrical Services, experience of full range of project delivery with experience of site supervision and inspections. 

You will have experience:

Liaising with clients, design team members and contractors Help develop and support graduate engineers and technicians Open to travel nationwide or internationally (short-term travel) depending on project requirements. Project experience within the Healthcare, Commercial and Datacentre sectors

This role will enable you to gain exposure within the highly technical Datacentre and Critical Facility market.

You will have

Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, preferably MSc or equivalent and working towards Chartership. Strong design experience in electrical building services design engineering.
