BIM Manager - MEICA

PRG have exclusively been appointed by a top energy consultancy assisting in the strategic search of an experienced Senior BIM Manager to join their process engineering and MEICA teams in Leeds.

The consultancy is hiring for a Senior BIM Manager to help develop and create change in their BIM capability for the region. You will be contributing to the groups management team leading engineers and technicians in developing their BIM skills.

Ideally you will have a background in energy or water and be from a process engineering MEICA background, open to a hybrid working role visiting the office a few days a week.

The role is challenging, but inspiring. It will require stellar BIM Management skills and knowledge; the ability to bring change and leadership to the team and spearhead the growth of the process engineering and MEICA BIM team.

As part of the Energy, Water and Resources division, you will be responsible for leading and developing the teams BIM activities. You will be responsible for a team of BIM technicians and will support projects as a Senior BIM Manager.

Additionally, you will develop efficient BIM strategies, procedures and workflows and support BIM delivery for business to ensure we add the best possible value to our clients and our projects. Advising on improvements and methods of data capture using AutoCAD Plant 3D for Smart P&ID systems. Furthermore, acting as BIM Technical Lead, you will mentor, support and train others as required, including clients and senior team members. You will be an aspirational leader for the companies Energy, Water and Resources BIM team.

Ideally you will have

• Thorough understanding of AutoCAD Plant 3D, Civil 3D and AutoCAD suites
• Great understanding of design and modelling in the Water Sector environment.
• Use of Revit (Structures and MEP), Navisworks, Bluebeam
• Knowledge of water non-infra and infra drawing delivery.
• Relevant qualifications in Construction, BIM, Civil Engineering
